What athletes eat: CrossFit champ Camille Leblanc-Bazinet's mango and greens protein smoothie

Who else loves this woman?

While a shoulder dislocation and tear meant having to pull out of the 2017 Games, Leblanc-Bazinet was back in 2018 with a 13th-place finish at the Games. Her next goal: to compete at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 in weightlifting.

We love her so much over here at Crossfit Nerds that we thought:

Why not share her go-to drink each morning? A delicious mango and greens protein smoothie that she originally shared over at ESPN.

It’s full of all the amazing juicy nutrients your body craves (and LOVES!)

The recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of chopped mango (I use frozen)
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1/4 cup of avocado
  • 1/2 a lime, squeezed
  • 1 cup of oatmeal, cooked
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon of nut butter

I like to use frozen chopped mango and partially thaw it at 80 percent power in the microwave. That makes the taste much stronger and still makes the smoothie cold.

Combine mango, spinach, avocado, oatmeal and lime in a blender. Add nut butter and protein powder and blend until smooth.

And there you have it folks.

If you don’t love this… are you even a human?

YUMM YUMM!

Enjoy!
